Large tables dominate the floor plan up front; while an expansive covered courtyard resides in the back, furnished with mismatched metal tables and colorful chairs. Service throughout is casual yet affable.This is eclectic American cooking with Caribbean (including Haitian) influences as well as the odd global inflection. Diners can make a meal out of the starters alone, as in crispy shrimp dumplings or the griot and pikliz, a Haitian classic with pork and spicy pickled slaw.
