Everything about this local restaurant screams happy place—and scream you might have to. Rest assured though as the noisy din is all just part of the fun. Inside, diners will discover a dining concept, based on century-old public houses and marked by equal parts lively conversations and pours of beer. Each item on the menu lists its place of origin next to it: for instance, cobia caught in Destin, FL; or lettuce grown in Buckley, MI. Global flavors make a guest appearance too, as evidenced by the jamón Serrano from Salamanca, Spain. Portraits of pigs hang in the room, and sure enough, braised pork belly first flash-fried and then laid over a sunchoke purée studded with blanched fava beans makes for a spectacular finish.
